Hello everyone,

I wanted to share with you a little about a project that my wife, Karen, and I are working on. We are currently in Africa at an orphanage partnering with Horizon Initiative. Below is a picture of my wife and some women who work at the orphanage standing in front of their new brick oven.

We are here to help empower these children and adults to become self sustaining individuals.

Horizon Initiative is an organization founded with a core competency of Empowering The Poor To Self Sustainability. We achieve this through developing Micro Communities that are backed by Venture Capitalists who leverage their ability to generate wealth and establish Corporate Sponsorship Partners.

By empowering the poor to attack the World's central challenge of alleviating poverty, we implicitly believe it is not just about giving money, rather developing self sustaining individuals and communities.
